I attended Kent State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, grades 1 through 8. I also have a concentration in Mathematics. Most recently, I have been attending science courses at Kent State and have participated in Operation Physics, Earth System Science and Conceptual Chemistry.

My greatest memory from high school is being part of the Track and Cross Country teams, and the camaraderie that went with it.

The most exciting part of the Academy for me is being part of a school where students have a voice and are excited about learning. I am also excited for their future in the Upper Academy. My youngest son graduated from Bio-Med Upper Academy and had a wonderful, enriching experience. He is the one who came home and announced the opening of the Lower Academy. He ended his announcement with, “You should work there.” He was right!

I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, hiking, reading, mountain biking and scrapbooking.
