I have Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry, Physics and Biology from Cleveland State University. I’m currently working toward a Master of Arts in Teaching Science at Kent State University. (I cannot get enough science!)

Having attended a fairly traditional college-prep high school, my fondest memories of are not of the class content, but of the friendships I made.

What excites me about the Academy is the unique opportunities students have to explore scientific content by integrating other subjects and accessing our amazing resources to find meaningful, real-world applications of cutting-edge science. It’s wonderful to be a part of such a forward-thinking learning environment. However, I love Bio-Med’s community-focused atmosphere the most. The openness and acceptance the students embody inspires me every day.

I enjoy teaching dance, exercising with my fiancé, being outdoors with our dog, traveling to new places with friends and learning new things.
