I earned a Bachelor of Science in Life Science Education from The University of Findlay. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Science focus at Kent State University.
My greatest memory from high school would have to be taking the opportunity to go on a three-week geology field study. It was the first time I was able to practice and experience science outside of the classroom and see and hike beautiful places while learning about their history and geology.
The opportunities available at the Academy in the present as well as in the future energize me. It’s fantastic to be able to work with such a motivated and creative staff! I’m excited to see what the future holds.
Outside of teaching I enjoy hiking, skiing and traveling to new and different places. I’m an Ohio State and Cleveland sports fan, and I enjoy watching and attending as many games as I can.
