I graduated Kent State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Social Studies.

Some of my favorite high school memories come from a project-based class in which we had to raise awareness about a cause in our community. It was based on the idea that we extract so much from our community that we must give back to it. That idea has been a part of my life ever since.

What excites me most about the Academy is how the school drives you to do what you do best. It puts students and teachers in a position to succeed while providing a place for you to strengthen skills that may not be your strongest at the moment. Bio-Med truly is a unique environment that empowers both students and faculty.

I love baseball (especially the Cleveland Indians), hockey (Blue Jackets fan here) and basketball (the Cavs, of course). I also have a passion for playing music and building guitars, and I have a goal of visiting every major Civil War battlefield and National Park in America.
